r Duck
R Duck (Albert Lekstutis) is a longtime electronic musician, radio host and champion of sonic sculpture. He started making music on an Olivetti M10 computer in 1983 and has continued to explore the outer reaches of electronic improvisation while collaborating with and promoting a community of likeminded musicians. From early experiments with two cassette decks and a microphone to the exquisite, complexly rich structures of sound he creates today, R Duck has constructed an auditory universe all his own.
Check out his guest-driven show, Sound Wheels, on KZSU 90.1 Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. PST and FRSC 101.3 Friday nights at 8:30 p.m. PST.
